Dear Friends, Supporters of Jianli and his family,

In Brookline on Sunday, September 21st, we will have a fundraising dinner for Yang Jianli's legal defense fund from 3-6pm at the First Parish of Brookline, 382 Walnut Street. We invite you to come to show support to Dr. Yang and his family, and to enjoy fabulous cuisine!

The friends and neighbors in Brookline will be extending a Distinguished Service Award to Congressman Barney Frank, who will be attending the event. We thank all of you who have graciously sent contributions. For those who made a donation but cannot be there, we encourage you to invite a friend to attend this important event.

If you have not yet sent in your reservation, that can wait. However, we ask that you call or email TODAY or by tomorrow morning (Tuesday mid-morning). At that time, a final planning meeting will be held and we would like to get as reasonable a count of attendees as possible. Kindly email Christina ASAP just to let her know that you will be there.

Many of you live far away but you may have friends or family near us - please let them know about this excellent event. Your support and assistance is needed in any amount.
