A happy family was together in the Chinese New Year, 2002. But when the Fall Autumn Festival came, it was broken.	As a Chinese citizen, Jianli had fought for his right to return to China. Arresting and Detaining are simply injustice and unfair!
Christina had an unsuccessful visit to China in May 2002. She was sent back to the US right after she arrived in Beijing. But she was warmly welcomed by many including Nobel Peace Laureate Tutu.	Jianli was held incommunicado by the Chinese in violation of their own and international law for more than a year. But the public never forget him.
Christina waited on Christmas 2002, New Year 2003, and now another holiday season is coming, but still no husband.	Two students of Beijing Normal University to be proud of: Miss. Liu Di and Dr. Yang Jianli.
April 26 marks the one year anniversary of Dr. Yang Jianli's detention. Candle Vigil event was held worldwide.	Mother is tearing, but she is proud of her son after she understood what her son had been doing for a great China.
Jianli is held in long incommunicado detention. Police interrogated him on more than 100 occasions. Relatives are shocked by the news.	Until July, 2003, Christina didn't even know whether her husband was alive. The Chinese authority never informed her orally or in writing.
One family is separated by jail wall. Christina Cried out for justice.	Jian was tried in August 2003, but after five months, there is still no verdict. Why?
