Qu Jingzhou is 10 years old, but she does not know her parents because she was abandomed 6 days after she was born. Luckily, she was adopted by a homeless woman. In October 2003, we reported about her story. After our report, some nice people helped her to get enrolled into the kindergarden of Xiangyang elementary school for a semester. Then due to various reasons, she had to leave from the school she loved to go in May this year. Nowadays, she had to pick up garbages on Haikou streets and she and her step-mother live in three water tubes as their "home".

But Jingzhou still remembers her school life. She remembers her schoolmates, even the schoolmate who shared a desk with her and took her eraser ...

In the May, she had to drop off from school. From then on, the little Jingzhou and her step-mother started their homeless life. Because they didn't have money to pay rent, they were kicked off from the place where they used to live. Her step-mother found a few water tubes at the site of province library near guoxing blvd. So, they settled down there.

This is a horrible "home". On August 1, we saw this "home" was simply abandoned water-tubes. Except a few items that they picked from garbages to sell for money, a pot, a knife, and two bowls, there is nothing else.

Jingzhou was abandoned 6 days after she was born.

"I want to go to school." This is the first thing that she told us. Going to school is not a difficult thing for most children, but for Jingzhou, this is a dream. The reason is simple: She was was abandoned and is an adopted child.

......

Tomorrow, she will start looking for a new home.

Although she eagers to go back to school, there is an egent task for her and her step-mother: they have to find a new "home" because this site will be cleaned up in one and a half month. This is not a good news. Where will be their new "home"?
